The Unbeliever and the Believer

"And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord." Luke 1:45

The unbeliever has only one thing in mind... proof! He believes only what he sees. And he always have doubts.

The believer has only one thing in mind... faith! He sees with his heart. He believes without doubt.

But given the best or worse of situation... the unbeliever and the believer can trade places. It will only take one miracle and the unbeliever can have even just a single grain of faith. And it will only take one tragic fate and the believer can turn into a Doubting Thomas.

The unbeliever and the believer live and co-exist in harmony with God's grace. They both see the same thing without doubt. But their faith varies in their hearts. And the truth is a constant quest.

Prayer
Lord, Let me see the things you want my heart to see.
Let me love with faith and humility.
And let me believe and trust in your grace. Amen

Well, I love your thoughts here, they are so true!! Especially how you say that just one thing can change them both. If God performed big miracles and made himself known to us, then we wouldn't need faith. And he wants us to come to him because we love him and want to, not because we want to use him to get what we want.

HI There, I love the way you intersperse pictures with words. You do a very nice job... But I do have a question... Where is that fabulous waterfall in that one picture???? My hubby and I collect (visit) waterfalls --and we'd love to see this one. Is it in Maine????

Thanks and have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy

This post is good for the soul. Not only it is from the bible, which is wonderful to dissect and live by, but you've also interpreted in a way that is realistic and understandable.

I love your words, your photos and your thoughts. I thank God for the faith He has instilled in us and for the miracles He has given us to create the faith. There was much testing that went with those miracles and I thank Him for the tests also. :-) G♥d bless!
